The beds were super comfy, and we had everything we needed for our self-catering stay. The cottage had its own parking space and a beautiful garden. The hosts were lovely and made us feel very welcome. We also found it to be great value for money. our staycation felt like a real holiday thanks to the cottage, its hosts, and its fantastic location.

Despite the overall positive experience, there were a few minor drawbacks. The cooking facilities could have been better, as the oven needed a deep clean or replacement and there were not enough glasses for drinking.

Located just 10 minutes away from the airport, this cozy cottage is a great base for exploring the surrounding area. With off-road parking facilities, it offers convenience for travelers with their own vehicles. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped, providing plenty of utensils, plates, and pans for a comfortable stay. The cottage boasts rustic charm with its creaky floorboards and beamed ceilings, while still offering the modern comforts of clean bedding, towels, and toiletries.

One minor drawback is the low water pressure in the shower, which could make hair washing a bit challenging.

Just outside Castletown, easy access to all island locations. Great size property for small group with 2 toilets. Heating works well. Julie gave a warm welcome and recommended a great fish and chip shop. Good off-road parking and 10 mins from airport. Excellent location with bus routes to explore the island.
